Barrett student organizations

Clubs

While ASU offers over 1000 student organizations, Barrett alone houses 30 unique clubs that offer rich opportunities for service and engagement. Among those, we have organizations surrounding student government, journalistic endeavors, service, leadership development, and much more.

Honors College Council at Barrett

The Honors College Council at Barrett (HCCB) is composed of elected students from all campuses, including online, who work together to foster community within Barrett. Working closely with other Barrett student organizations, faculty, staff, and the Deans, HCCB aims to improve the well-being of Barrett students and advocate on their behalf. We make sure to voice student concerns to ensure the success of the entire Barrett community!

Student leadership opportunities

Here at Barrett, students demonstrate leadership in many ways. Whether in the classroom, research labs, mentoring and tutoring other students, or securing leadership roles across ASU and over 1000 student organizations, chapters, and societies, the sky's the limit for Barrett leadership opportunities. Here are some great opportunities to grow as a leader within the Barrett community.

Barrett Mentoring Program

The Barrett Mentoring Program (BMP) is an equitable, inclusive, and relationship-centered mentoring program that creates more connections for students and adds an additional layer of support for first year students. Each year, Barrett selects upper division students to be Barrett Mentors. Barrett Mentors are paired with a small group of first-year Barrett students and communicate with their mentees on a regular basis.

Community Assistants

Upper-division students who serve as resources for the students within the residence halls. Community Assistants (CAs) are an important resource to honors students living on-campus by ensuring the safety of the residents, performing many of the necessary administrative duties in the residence halls, and fostering an engaging living and learning environment through various events and programs.

Honors Devils

Honors Devils is a leadership and ambassador group within the recruiting and admissions office of Barrett that directly supports the recruitment of prospective students. The Honors Devils enjoy exclusive personal and professional development opportunities focused on enhancing their public speaking, problem solving, and communication skills. Honors Devils is a vibrant community of Barrett students who delight in sharing their love for the college with prospective students and their families.
