About Barrett Newsletters

The Honors Digest is a form of direct email communication connecting Barrett to our students to provide them with the opportunities Barrett and ASU offers both within Barrett and throughout our ASU community. All students who enroll in Barrett are automatically subscribed to the Honors Digest.

The Campus Newsletters (Downtown Phoenix, Polytechnic, Tempe, West, Online) are direct email communications connecting Barrett students to activities and opportunities on each individual campus. Students will automatically be subscribed to their primary campus each year.

The Internship and Research Roundup is a direct email communication sent to all Barrett students to provide them with exclusive research and internship opportunities within ASU and with outside partners throughout the Phoenix area.

Honors Digest Guidelines

Please adhere to all the following instructions or your submission will not be posted.

  • The Honors Digest is published twice weekly, every Tuesday and Thursday at 10 a.m., except for university holidays.
  • Any submissions must be made by 5 p.m. two business days before the desired send date. Last minute submissions will not be accepted. E.g., a submission for Tuesday must be made by Friday.
  • Barrett-affiliated items will be posted a maximum of two times, while ASU/Community submissions will only be posted once.
  • Do not make multiple submissions for the same announcement, event, or opportunity. Duplicated submissions will not be accepted.
  • The Honors Digest does not accept focus groups or surveys outside of students doing research for their honors thesis.
  • Attachments, pictures, or flyers of any kind will not be included In the Digest.

Campus Newsletters

Please adhere to all the following instructions or your submission will not be posted.

  • The Campus Newsletters are published weekly, every Monday. If the Monday falls on a university holiday, the campus newsletter will be sent the following day.
  • Any submissions must be made by 5 p.m. two business days before the desired send date. Last minute submissions will not be accepted. E.g., a submission for Monday must be made by Thursday the week before.
  • The Barrett Online campus newsletter is published biweekly on Tuesdays at 10 a.m.
  • Submission must be relevant or take place on the requested campuses.
  • Do not make multiple submissions for the same announcement, event, or opportunity. Duplicated submissions will not be accepted.
  • The campus newsletters do not accept focus groups or surveys outside of students doing research for their honors thesis.
  • Attachments, pictures, or flyers of any kind will not be included in the campus newsletters.

Internship and Research Roundup

Please adhere to all the following instructions or your submission will not be posted.

  • The Roundup is published biweekly at 8 a.m. during the academic year, except for university holidays.
  • Any submissions must be made by 5 p.m. two business days before the desired send date (i.e., the Monday before the next send). Last minute submissions will not be accepted.
  • Events submitted to the Roundup must be relevant to student career and professional development (i.e., employer webinars, networking mixers, resume workshops, etc.).
  • Internships must first be approved on Handshake through ASU Career and Development Services. Please include your job posting's Handshake link in the URL field of your submission.
  • Barrett student jobs listed on the ASU Student Employment website should not be submitted as an internship to be featured in the Roundup. Such positions will be advertised in campus newsletters.
  • Attachments, pictures, or flyers of any kind will not be included in the Roundup.

  • Make any corrections to your submission via the email confirmation you receive after submitting.
  • Send your revised submission to honorslsubmission@exchange.asu.edu. Any questions you have can be directed there as well.
