About this opportunity
The Information Technology degree covers key disciplines that incorporate emerging technologies, including agile software development, data management and analytics, network administration, cloud computing and cybersecurity.
Students have the opportunity to select technical electives in different interdisciplinary areas. Within a project-driven curriculum, students take a learn-by-doing approach that prepares them for careers in IT.
Thesis
Students may purse thesis topics in a number of areas of the major. Examples include cybersecurity, database systems management, software development and quality assurance.
Academic Preparation
Students in the Polytechnic School should take advantage of the opportunities to participate in hands-on projects, partnerships with industry, and participation in cutting-edge research. Getting involved early will help students foster working relationships with faculty members for the honors thesis.
Other Honors Opportunities
