Barrett students are encouraged to take advantage of an array of opportunities that enrich the honors experience, including making connections with Barrett peers from all four campus locations.
Each campus hosts a unique signature event that all Barrett students, regardless of campus location, are invited to attend. These events are known as the “Barrett Circuit” and allow students to engage with the larger Barrett community. Bring your friends and experience all that Barrett has to offer!

Dia De Los Muertos

Barrett, The Honors College Downtown presents an opportunity for all to celebrate and learn more about the history of the Day of the Dead! Dia de los Muertos is a Mexican holiday to honor the dearly departed and reunite them with the living. It’s a cultural tradition indigenous to Mexico, dating back thousands of years to the earliest and most glorious civilizations in Mesoamerica. Join us for food, face painting, machachi and an altar for our community's loved ones.

Barrett at the Suns

Join us for an exclusive experience at the Mortgage Matchup Center—formerly known as the Footprint Center—home of the Phoenix Suns and Mercury! This unique event includes a behind-the-scenes tour of the arena, insights from Suns staff during engaging panel discussions, and networking opportunities. Students will also enjoy an hour of shootaround time on the official court and a ticket to that night’s game.
Eros Symposium: Poetry Party & Picnic

Join your Barrett friends in the heart of the West Valley campus for an afternoon of poetry, food, and crafts. Read your favorite poem or just listen as your classmates read. Enjoy a Greek-inspired lunch buffet and photo area. Create your own poem and floral crown.
