Peer Academic Leaders (PALs) are student leaders who serve our first and second year Barrett students on the Tempe campus.
Peer Academic Leaders promote community through 1:1 interactions with residents; creating and offering academic, professional development, social, and skill-building events; participating in the community by attending events; and supporting housing renewal and other college initiatives.
Two Peer Academic Leaders serve each of the following academic college communities on the Tempe campus:
- College of Liberal Arts and Sciences
- Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts
- Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering
- W.P. Carey School of Business
- Non-Major Specific Barrett Communities (all other colleges)
- Vista/Adelphi Communities
If you are a second or third-year student on the Tempe campus, your PALs will send you weekly newsletters and plan events for your community each month! If you have questions about the Peer Academic Leader position, contact Angie Frankenfield at [email protected].
