About HCCB
The Honors College Council at Barrett, also known as HCCB, is composed of elected students from all campuses, including online, who work together to foster community within Barrett, the Honors College. Working closely with other Barrett student organizations, faculty, staff, and the Deans, HCCB aims to improve the well-being of Barrett students and advocate on their behalf.
The Council consists of ten executive officers and two representatives for each campus. These positions include:

- Vice President
- Director of Finance
- Director of Advocacy
- Director of Marketing
- Director of Club Engagement
- Director of Community Engagement
- Director of Accessibility & Inclusion
- Director of Academic Initiatives
- Director of Improvements
- Downtown Representatives
- Poly Representatives
- West Valley Representatives
- Online Representatives
Students who are interested in getting involved with HCCB can reach out to any of the officers about opportunities available, attend one of their many events throughout the year, or join HCCB committees, if available. Committee development is at the discretion of the Council, but previous HCCB Committees have included a Civic Engagement committee, a Barrett Improvements Committee, and a Curriculum committee.
The election cycle for the Council occurs March through April of each Spring semester to determine the council members that will lead for the following academic year. All Barrett students are eligible to run for a position on the Council.
Although separate from the Undergraduate Student Government (USG), HCCB works closely with USG and the Barrett Senators to represent Barrett students on a university-wide level. If you are looking for more information on Undergraduate Student Government, click here.
